![]() Service: Fast, friendly, attentive, and open. I parked NEXT to the restaurant, then when I came in I was asked to move. The place is not really "decorated" well: cheap paneling, messy (not dirty) counter space, cool historic pictures/stories on the wall in really cheap frames. The layout is a little weird: poles blocking the dining area where back tables are really dark vs open area with consistent lighting, The kitchen fridge and freezer are on the opposite side of the room from kitchen area in the middle of the customer area. The tables and chairs are basic but comfortable. ![]() Moreįorge Village Breakfast is clearly a local's place that serves a better-than-average breakfast and provides outstanding service but there are areas for improvement that could bring this to a 5 star.Īmbiance: The restaurant is clean in a rustic, locals setting. It is a shame as this restaurant had the potential of being a decent non chain eatery that we were looking for. The food was ok, but it was cold, really a bummer of an experience! A waitress did apologize for the wait when we left but nothing more. Of course we had to get up and get our own silverware cause when our food came we had nothing to eat it with and no one offered to bring us any. TWENTY minutes after my daughter received her meal and 60 minutes from the time we walked in, the rest of us received our meal. Nope! 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes went by.my daughter finally ate her cold breakfast. She waited to eat as we all anticipated our food would be arriving shortly after. Ten minutes after our coffee refresher, my daughter received her meal. At this point there were still open tables in the restaurant, the placed wasn't packed by any means. Thats when the wait began.30 minutes after we ordered we were approached by a different waitress apologizing for the wait and offered more coffee. We were approached by our waitress fairly quickly and she took our order. ![]() Well, we finally got that opportunity and we wish we had just driven by like we had in years past. ![]() We have driven passed this restaurant many times over the past 20 years with the desire to stop in someday.
